Earth Celebration: Stories and Songs For Our Planet with Storyteller Rona Leventhal

Families are invited to join Miss Denise, from the Monson Free Library, and Town of Monson Conservation Agent, Toni Uliana in welcoming Storyteller Rona Leventhal for an Earth Celebration: Stories and Songs For Our Planet!

The event will take place by the brook at Veterans Field in Monson (behind the town offices 110 Main Street, Monson, MA)

(In case of rain: the program will be moved to the Desants Community Room at the Monson Free Library: 2 High Street, Monson, MA)

Sit back, put your feet up, and join Storyteller Rona Leventhal for a journey around the world and back with her back pocket full of multicultural stories! Rona Leventhal is one person, but many voices!

Through her, skies talk, turtles sing and magic happens! She'll have you tapping your feet, swaying in your seats, dancing, singing and laughing as she shares stories from the silly to the serious, from the mysterious to the monstrous! Who will bring back the sun? What do turtles do in winter? What is decomposition? Does dirt really make my lunch? Why do possums have a naked tail? Join Rona for a fun hour of stories and songs....and perhaps you will find the answers to some of these questions
